On the radio, Carole King's "It's Too Late/I Feel The Earth Move" sat at number one, while television audiences were tuning in to the groundbreaking family sitcom "All in the Family" each week. On July 26, NASA launched Apollo 15, sending astronauts David Scott, Alfred Worden, and James Irwin to the Moon, where Scott and Irwin would become the first crew to drive a lunar roving vehicle across the surface.
