On screens and speakers, "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" was packing movie theaters while Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury," an insider account of the Trump White House, was sitting at the top of the nonfiction bestseller list. The Golden State Warriors claimed the NBA title that year, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers, and at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, the United States finished with 23 total medals, including 9 gold.
